We're pleased to announce the launch of our new website at www.radiobayfm.com.au

We have endeavoured to create a user-friendly, yet comprehensive site. You can browse through pages covering everything from our announcers, our music or our program features.

You can access information on advertising with Bay FM, download information on our various advertising packages, check out our promotions, flip through our photo gallery, find out about local community groups, or even view a video presentation giving you a sample taste of Bay FM.

You'll also find links to local organisations such as Port Stephens Tourism and Nelson Bay & District Business Chamber, as well as links to our current featured advertisers.

In view of the current economic climate and as Bay FM’s Christmas & Summer Holiday Gift, we are offering at absolutely no charge until February 1, 2009, additional commercials to your booked schedule.

To receive this gift your advertising booking must be received by 15th December, 2008.

For your booking of 50 commercials per week, you will receive an additional 20 commercials free of charge.
For your booking of 20 commercials per week, you will receive an additional 8 commercials per week.

New Program

Commencing Sunday 3rd December, 2008 Bay FM will begin broadcasting "Far Out!" on Sunday Nights from 7pm to 9pm.

Streamed from the US each week, "Far Out!" is a 2-hour weekly program of "underground" rock radio featuring cuts from the freeform radio era, with garage bands, masters of psychedelia, folk-rockers, bluesmakers, flower-power singer/songwriters, roots rockers, funky rockers and folk-metal pioneers ... even the "grooviest" commercial crossovers.

Sandwiched in between are audio clips from the era and the occassional comedy cut.

Nothing on Far Out! takes place after 1976. The show is produced with vintage audio processing, with ALL the music coming from rich-sounding vinyl — or in some cases, reel tapes.

Far Out! is sponsored by Coca-Cola.

So, dust off the lava lamp, get out the incense, power up the blacklight posters and take a trip!

Far Out! follows our hugely popular "Beatles Basement", which is also streamed direct from the US each week, and is broadcast from 5pm Sundays. "Beatles Basement" features a massive collection of the orignal versions of songs as aired on radio in the 1960s and 1970s plus archival and exclusive interview clips.
