Welcome

Bay FM 99.3 is a Port Stephens FM radio station, located in Nelson Bay,
specifically serving the Tomaree and Tilligerry Peninsulas, just north of Newcastle.


Port Stephens (the name of the local shire and the name of the beautiful natural harbour) is about 160 kilometres north of Sydney, Australia's major city.

The major townships on the Tomaree Peninsula are Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay, Anna Bay, Corlette, Salamander Bay and Soldier's Point.

On the Tilligerry Peninsula are the townships of Tanilba Bay, Mallabulla and Lemon Tree Passage. And on the northern shore of Port Stephens, seperated by the Myall River, are the twin towns of Tea Gardens and Hawk's Nest.

Bay FM has a music format of “the music you know and remember” by and large focusing on 50s, 60s and early 70s music, promoted as "playing the music you grew up with" ™.

This format is well suited to the holiday atmosphere of the Peninsulas for all age groups and is specifically targeted to the over 45s, the age group which accounts for the bulk of residents.

Nights - 6pm to 12 midnight and 6am to 12 noon Sundays: Graham Webb
